Neil Crud Asked us to do some session Tracks for his radio show on Tudno FM so we had a few jams and edited parts of the jams into tracks we needed 4 tracks for the session but had made 9 so this album was born!
The Large Veiny Members are Dave, Carl and sometimes Fay. They are based in Lewes & Brighton. Originally Fay,Dave & Carl were The Las Vegas Mermaids, a band that teetered on the edge of chaos while having a costume change for every song. When Fay moved to Bath which is too far to rehearse easily, so The Large Veiny Members were Born. Dave on Keyboards and Carl on various drum machines & bleepy boxes. They Jammed in Dave's front room, occasionally Fay would visit and improvise lyrics to the jams. Some of the Jams were edited into tracks for the godspunk Compilation CDs. Eventually the call of the stage came to Dave & Carl so they played at a local Open Mic night. The open Mic was a folk event so The Large Veiny Member playing a 15 min improvised Electronic music set was a little jarring. But The Landlord appreciated it by coming up to them afterwards and saying that was great it is a very long time since I have taken acid but I feel like taking some now!
